The Graduate

Delaney's preschool graduation day was filled with a performances, a ceremony complete with Pomp and Circumstance, speeches, photos, and a party.

It is hard to believe that five years ago today, I watched Peyton through the exact same performances and ceremony. After Peyton's ceremony, I promptly kissed her goodbye and left her with my mom at the after party. Todd and left for the hospital to go have Delaney. Before we left the school, all of the moms gathered around me and prayed over me for a safe delivery and sent me off in to go have Delaney. Many of the same women were at graduation yesterday. We are so blessed to have experienced Miss Martha and her wonderful school. She has truly changed our lives.

As I tucked Delaney into bed last night, recounting the day and telling her how proud I am of her and all she has learned this year, she sweetly looked at me and asked, "Mommy....tomorrow do I have to go to kindergarten?"
