Betty and Jim are helping us build a deck this weekend...pictures will be posted soon! While the men have been building Betty and I have been cooking for our hard working builders. With all the time in the kitchen we have been pondering menu possibilities for the family reunion in Wisconsin this June. We were thinking that meals will need to be made on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Betty suggested that we eat a small, on your own, breakfast three of the days so people can eat when they wake up. Janelle called dibs on making a big breakfast. Does Saturday work, Janelle? With a big breakfast Saturday we probably won't need a big lunch.
*I'm using the Blog to post this because I'm missing a few email addresses.
Here is what we were thinking....
Thursday dinner: Ryan and Anna?
Friday lunch: Cesar Salad?
Friday dinner: Steph and Nate (brats, burgers. snicker salad)
*Amy could you make a yummy dessert?
Saturday breakfast: Janelle
Saturday dinner: Jeremy and Sheri?
Sunday lunch: Taco salad?
*When thinking about everyones' arrivals and departures we thought it would be best to assign families meals (this saves a little time too).
Bring your favorite games/activities to play! Nate and I will bring the washer game. Can you fit Ladder Golf in your car, Jeremy and Sheri?
We are excited to see everyone and spend a few memorable summer days together!!
These are the days...

Ryan and I will do dinner on Thursday! We planned on making the strawberry, grilled chicken spinach, feta, walnut salad with dark cherry dressing! The kids that don't like salad can have the grilled chicken and strawberries separate and dip it in the dark cherry dressing.
Yum!Stephanie and I were hoping this would be your choice.
The guys are busy on the deck already. It is looking good.
Grandma
I asked for breakfast/brunch so we could enlist dad's help! Because, to be honest, I am guessing I won't be able to help much with the cooking. We will see...
We are crossing our fingers for warm weather. Isaac can't wait to roast marshmellows on Grandpa's fire!

I think we should add in pudgy pies with the ceaser salad for Friday lunch. The kids would enjoy doing those.
No problem on the Saturday dinner. Jeremy and I will have that covered. We will certainly bring ladder golf. : )
