Hi, it's us again:)
We spent the weekend in northern Minnesota with other Edward Jones families from our area. On our way up to the resort I got a phone call from Stevens Point Public Schools offering me the job for the 5/6 gifted and talented classroom teaching position!! I will be signing the contract towards the end of July. It's exciting to have a job offer but very nerve racking too. 5/6 GT will be a lot different than my third graders I'm used to and it means that Nate and I will probably have to live in two separate states during the fall...which will be very tough. We're hoping to have someone hired for his office soon!!
Our time at the resort was a little bittersweet, because this will be our last big get together with the group...next summer we'll be hanging out with the Wisconsin Edward Jones families:) We had a prom theme for one of the dinners and so I dusted off my prom dress from 9 years ago when Nate and I went! Wow, does time fly! We're standing next to a birch canopy/arch from a wedding that was at the same resort. With the name Birchler I had to have our picture taken under it!
We hope you enjoyed some summer fun this weekend too!

WOW!!!! FABULOSO!!! We are all so proud of you!! They knew they found a gem with you Stephanie and snatched you up.! You will be incredible.. I know you're scared of something new, but this may just be your calling! :) This is an extremely difficult time to find a teaching job girl... I am SO EXCITED FOR YOU! Your and Nate's hearts will just grow even fonder (if that is possible..) being away for a time. It is only temporary. We miss you!
