Happy Christmas and New Year to everyone!! I am not sure anyone reads this blog anymore, but I'll do one last post since we had the great pleasure of having Mom and Dad come for a visit. The girls and we were so so so excited! It was fun to have Grandma and Grandpa all to ourselves... even even just for a brief moment! We were all in a little depression with the early departure, but one day is better than none we all decided! 

Other highlights were Mika also went ice-skating for the first time (see below). After a spin with mommy she decided she wanted to do it all by herself.. mmmmm...  a little harder than it looks after falling on her toosh. She got right back up though..

  We had a quiet holiday this year since my Aunt and cousin Andre decided to stay in Maine; Andre just got back from studying in Spain and my Grandpa is not doing very well with his Alzhemiers and they wanted to be there for my Grandma. They anticipate this will be the last year my Grandma will have Christmas at home with him and will move him into a facility that can better care for him sometime in the near future. I am happy for freedom for my Grandma, but also very sad for my Grandpa and I chose not to think about it too much. Life is so precious and short..Which is also why I wanted to say Happy New Year and love to you all.

Thanksgiving Memories

Thank you for all of the cherished memories:)

Nate and I were talking on the way home of how much we enjoy all of our traditions. We're counting on everyone to keep these around so our kids can enjoy the family fun too!

Brrrr! It's cold outside!

Hope everyone is staying warm! This past week as been a real wake up call - 70 degrees and sunny down to 28 degrees with rain and snow. Fun, fun. I finally broke down and put a warm coat on and now the weather feels kinda nice. I just love the change of seasons - as long as I am warm!!!
Lexie has finally gotten used to bundling up. We had a couple of rough mornings!!!
